Meet Eric

On our newest episode of Donuts with Doyle, Doyle Bishop interviews Eric Hall, Director of Operations at Tulsa Heaters Midstream. Eric shares stories from his military background and how it influenced his career. Take a look and enjoy meeting more of the team that keeps THM running.

Eric's story is one of dedication, sacrifice and unwavering commitment. As he reflects on his family life and military service, it becomes evident that these experiences have shaped him into the individual he is today.

Eric and his wife are approaching their 20th wedding anniversary, a significant milestone that speaks to the strength and resilience of their bond. With four children, ranging from a daughter about to turn 16 to three lively boys, their household is undoubtedly a bustling hub of activity. Despite the whirlwind of daily life, Eric cherishes these moments.

Beyond his role as a devoted family man, Eric's humility shines through as he shares his military journey. Rising through the ranks to attain the distinguished title of Major in the National Guard, he served two tours of duty in Afghanistan. These extended periods of separation tested his personal resolve and the strength of his relationship with his wife. Surprisingly, the distance served to strengthen their bond, demonstrating the resilience of their love amidst adversity.

The sacrifices inherent in military service have left an indelible mark on Eric. Living out of two duffel bags for year-long deployments led him to a profound realization: the recognition that he doesn't need as many material possessions as he once thought. Furthermore, witnessing the living conditions and daily struggles of people in other countries has provided him with a perspective that transcends borders. It has underscored the universal nature of human needs and desires, fostering empathy and understanding on a deeply personal level.

As Director of Operations, Eric oversees project management, logistics and the coordination of engineering efforts, encompassing a multifaceted leadership role that demands strategic acumen and operational expertise.

Eric's journey is one characterized by resilience, grit, and an unwavering commitment to both his family and his duty to serve. His experiences offer valuable insights into the transformative power of challenges, the strength found within relationships, and the leadership required to navigate complex operational landscapes. It is a testament to the remarkable individuals who exemplify unwavering dedication, even in the face of adversity.
